In honour of the British and Commonwealth soldiers who died during World War 1, students took part in a special poppy memorial. All students in Year 7, 8 and 9 as well as staff and students from other years produced ceramic poppys. These were tied to a structure at the front of school, with each poppy bearing a messages by the students. One message was to thank those who died and the other was a message of peace for the future.
