Open Evening Year 7 Intake 2015/16
Carnforth High School would like to welcome prospective pupils and parents to visit the school on Tuesday the 16th of September. We will be holding an open morning from 9:00 - 11:00am which will provide you with an opportunity to see the school at work. This will be followed by the open evening running from 6:30 until 8:30pm. We hope to see you there to show you the fantastic opportunities Carnforth High School offers to our pupils.

Continued Success
For 6 consecutive years, the school has received national recognition for its GCSE results and in 2013, gained 96% A-C GCSE and 100% A-E at Sixth Form. Congratulations to all our leavers and we wish them great success.

Excellent Facilities
Carnforth High School is constantly evolving to provide students with the best facilities to help with their education. In recent years we have opened a brand new sports hall, dance studio and hair salon.

GCSE Results 2014

On behalf of all the staff and Governors at Carnforth High School, I would like congratulate Year 11 on the best set of GCSE results for 3 Years! The school achieved 59% 5A*-C with English and Maths which is a 10% increase from last year's headline figures. Students have performed especially well in Mathematics and English, exceeding their personal targets to achieve 71% in English and 70% in Mathematics. This is a testament to all your hard work and we look forward to welcoming many of you back to Year 12 in a few week's time.

A-Level Results 2014

Congratulations to all Year 13 on their A-Level and Level 3 results. The Sixth Form at Carnforth High School is in its third year and the achievement of all students is improving year on year. Our small class sizes mean that all our vocational courses have a 100% pass rate with many students achieving merits and distinctions. Our Sixth Form Federation allows students to access a wide range of courses in 4 local centres.

GCSEPod goes live

GCSEPod has been shown to all year 11 pupils in order to provide them with an extra resource to help with revision for their exams. Please click the link for more information about this great new service.

OFSTED Inspection April 2013

Music Tuition at Carnforth High School

The Music Department at Carnforth High School is pleased to offer your children a range of Music tuition from September 2013.
Lessons are only £5 for a single lesson or £2.50 for a shared lesson.
